Modular Cold Rooms are manufactured with insulated panels that provide isolation of products from outdoor conditions. Cold Room Panels, one of the most important rings of the cooling chain, are manufactured by Teknotek Refrigeration in accordance with international standards.
The cold room panels produced for Modular Cold Rooms are processed in polyurethane machines in high pressure between two 0.50 mm thick sheets. Polyurethane with 40-42 kg / m³ density is injected in order to provide heat insulation.
Features of Modular Cold Rooms Panel
The panels are interlocked in male and female form and are locked additionally by special designed eccentric lock system. This locking system allows the panels to be easily assembled and disassembled without deteriorating.
Cold Room Panels are produced in thicknesses of 60mm, 80mm, 100mm, 120mm, 150mm and 200mm.
The panels can be produced in 116 cm width and up to a maximum of 13,50 meters in any desired length.
The surface material of Wall and Ceiling Panels is produced standardized as RAL 9002 painted and Polyester coated Galvanized Sheet. Optionally, PVC coated Galvanized Steel Sheet can be produced as 304 Cr-Ni Stainless Steel Sheet.
Cold Storage Floor Panels
Surface material is produced in two different ways as Plywood and Plywood + 304 Cr-Ni Stainless Steel Sheet. Plywood is of 1st class quality and 10 mm thick. Its top surface is a non-slip hexagonal textured and made of original Birch wood. The bottom surface is 0.50 mm thick and produced as Polyester coated Galvanized sheet.
Why Choose Sandwich Panel?
For the following reasons, Sandwich Panels are the ideal panel type for modular cold storage.
- Hygienic and anti-bacterial
- Easy to clean
- Energy saving compared to other types of insulation
- Easy to assemble and disassemble
- Strength
- Long life
In locked cold room panels, since two panels are joined to each other by eccentric locks at short intervals, a more durable storage is built. The panels are less affected by any impact.
Unlocked panels will not be as tight as the locked panels, there is heat loss so the cold room will consume more electricity.
Since the joints are made with eccentric locks, it is very simple to disassemble and assemble. It provides convenience if it is necessary to move the cold store to another location.
